Momentum

Ongoing Financial Planning + Investment Management

What You'll Walk Away With:

  • A comprehensive action plan built around your most pressing priorities — so you know exactly what to do next

  • A personalized investment strategy aligned with your goals, your timeline, and your values

  • Ongoing planning that expands over time — covering more ground as your financial life grows and comes into focus

  • Tax-smart strategies that keep more of what you've earned working in your favor

  • A thinking partner who stays actively involved — someone who knows your situation and is genuinely invested in your outcome

  • Confidence that your financial world is coordinated and cared for

Why It Matters:

There's a difference between having a financial plan and having someone who helps you live it.

A plan gives you clarity at a moment in time. Momentum gives you something that compounds — a relationship that deepens as your life evolves, covers more ground as new questions emerge, and stays current as your priorities shift. In the early months, we focus on the most important work first: understanding your full picture, gathering everything that matters into one place, and building a clear action plan for where to start. That's the most intensive phase, and it's designed to move quickly.

After that, the relationship expands. Over time we work through a wider range of topics — investments, taxes, insurance, estate planning, and whatever else your situation calls for. By year two or three, the relationship becomes something quieter and more valuable: making sure the right things are still happening, staying ahead of decisions before they become problems, and being there when something unexpected comes up.

That last part matters more than you might think. Markets move. Life changes. Having someone in your corner who knows your situation — and who you trust to give you an honest answer when you need one — is worth more than any spreadsheet.

The Details:

Momentum begins with an intensive 90-day engagement covering your most important financial priorities — saving, investments, and whatever else is most pressing. From there, ongoing planning expands to cover 3–6 additional topics per year, so your plan stays relevant as your life changes.

Initial fee: $3,500 — $1,750 due upfront, $1,750 due after 90 days.

For most clients, total first-year costs — including the initial engagement fee — start at approximately $5,000, depending on assets managed. After that, ongoing fees are based entirely on assets managed.

Here's an example of how the ongoing fees work: a $250,000 portfolio would pay approximately $2,500 per year, or about $208 per month. A $500,000 portfolio would pay approximately $4,500 per year, or around $375 per month.

Full ongoing fee schedule:

  • Under $100,000: 1.1%

  • $100,000–$500,000: 1.0%

  • $500,000–$1,000,000: 0.9%

  • $1,000,000–$2,500,000: 0.8%

  • $2,500,000–$5,000,000: 0.7%

  • Above $5,000,000: 0.6%

Values-aligned, sustainable investing is the default approach for all Momentum clients.

For people who want investment management without ongoing financial planning, Alignment may be the better fit.

If this sounds like the relationship you've been looking for, I'd love to talk it through. No pressure, no jargon, no judgment — just an honest conversation to see if we're a good fit.

Keep Your Plan In Motion.
Some financial situations don't need a one-time fix — they need an ongoing partner. Someone who knows your full picture, stays actively involved as your life evolves, and is there when the decisions get complicated or the markets get uncomfortable. That's what Momentum is.
